Funny days in New York City
Hello from a rainy day in NYC. The window is open, and my lamp is on. On days like these it seems like the universe is whispering hints at me. Sparse phrases I overhear in the coffee shop, words on the NYT crossword puzzle, lines in a song that I’d never really understood before seem to be directed at me, infused with the wisdom I need right now.

Less than a month before I leave for NYC— the last days of Californian summer I have left.

Ah, psychology! After thinking about it for about two minutes, I realized that ascribing any unusual pattern to my life, especially one so self-serving, is silly. In essence, silly things happen to me because I am a silly person. There is an absurd quality inherent into my being and that is why I get scammed on Etsy.

May brought loads of upheaval and change. My years at NorCal SOTA as a Performing Arts Corps member ended. I graduated high school, obtained my driver’s license (finally!) and confirmed that I would follow my Gap Year ambition.
