Antigone in ANTIGONE, Mount Holyoke College Fall 2025
The corpse of Antigone’s brother, Polynices, is rotting in the open sun, being picked to pieces by birds. Antigone’s uncle, Creon, has decreed that as an insurgent, Polynices does not deserve the rites of burial. Anyone who attempts to bury or mourn him will be stoned to death. Antigone, in an act of enormous courage and defiance of the crown, without the help of her remaining family, buries her brother Polynices. For this act, she is killed.

May Recap; Graduation(s) and Reflection
May brought loads of upheaval and change. My years at NorCal SOTA as a Performing Arts Corps member ended. I graduated high school, obtained my driver’s license (finally!) and confirmed that I would follow my Gap Year ambition.
Sweeney Todd, Mrs. Lovett - NorCal SOTA 2023
This spring, I was in a production of Sweeney Todd School Edition at with Northern California School of the Arts. I played Nellie Lovett, and it was an absolute beast. Sweeney conjured up a lot of emotions for me, and now that it is over, I know it has changed me both as a performer and as a person.
